The executives at Viacom couldn't manage a lemonade stand. All they have is Michael Bay, which is not a complement. The fact that they're sitting on the next Lord of the Rings/Harry Potter franchise and doing nothing with it points to their incompetence.

This. Most movies now a days are crap. How do they get green lighted?

Because Hollywood is almost completely a "who do you know" industry. Nepotism over quality every time.
