Have a buddy that's in the seafood industry here in SWLA and recommended this press that is made by a lady out of Florida, I'll never pick a crab again. Super easy and gets ALL of the meat out. Back the crab, clean the guts out, crack body in half, legs go in first with the half body on the outside and pull the press towards you and the meat comes out. I've tried many other kinds but this is the best I've ever used. I think I paid $40 for it. Simple design, just has a 4" half moon married to a tray with a U-Bolt that is also adjustable from the nuts on the bottom

Wow! I first saw a "crab press" about 25 years ago. I have posted here before about my brother's oyster knife and one of the investors we talked to was a guy in Galliano (I think), that had patented something very similar. His experience was disappointing. People didn't like the fact that the crab meat was crushed. But his point was that it quickly produced crabmeat that could put food in the freezer.
