Good analysis. I think that Miss. State, like most teams, made some scheme adjustments at halftime, to counter what LSU was doing. It worked, and LSU couldn't counter and struggled, as usual, in the second half. That has been a trademark of LSU under Miles for several seasons. The Tigers didn't turn conservative. They just could not, or would not, adjust to the changes that Miss State put in place.

I don't know what's so hard to understand about miscues and fumbles. Had nothing to do with scheme or adjusting. There were 3 drives where LSU was stopped by errors by the players. That could have been 17 points or 13 points. So you're looking at a 40-13 or 36-6 game ish.

That's the point of this thread. Had nothing to do with the games plan. Nothing.

The stats shown dont prove this. The stats shown prove we fumbled and had penalties stop our 3 most important drives of the 2nd half.

Drives that were getting 7.1 yard per play.
