AP will overreact and put Louisville 2nd.
UCLA may join the top 25 after beating BYU in Provo.

LSU too high, ND and OU shouldn't even sniff it.
Notre dame is a dumpster fire.

IDK but why is everyone penciling in Bama #1? Because preseason?
Ohio State has more impressive win on the road. Same with Ville at home.
Turns out USC is garbage and Ole Miss lost last week to a team that just got obliterated by Louisville.
We should go off resumes so far. But the polls will be lazy as usual, never punishing anyone for close wins against teams that didn't live up to preseason hype.
Ville will be #5...tOSU will be #2. Michigan will be #3. Stanford will be #4.

Who has the best win right now?
tOSU?
Houston?
Bama?
Louisville?
I think if you look at it, Louisville does.
Followed by tOSU, Houston.
Then Bama.

Ranking teams solely on the "Best wins" is typically not how it's done.
Pollsters ranking is not only how based on resume but also based on the "how get I think they really are" test.
As the season goes on it becomes progressively more about resume and less about expectations of course.

Baylor is too high. We've had issues coping with SMU and Rice, like holy frick.

Tenn too high in ops rankings too.. Looked bad in 2 out of 3 weeks vs supposedly inferior opponents
Posted on 9/18/16 at 4:56 am to IAmReality
I agree, but this early what else is there?
Posted on 9/18/16 at 6:05 am to Geauxdhan08
We were ranked 15 and 3 teams ahead of us lost,I'd be surprised if we are worse than 13th

Tennessee is way too high. I have watched all three of their games and they are just bad. Any team with a pulse will beat them
