Watching on one of the Cinemax channels now. Seven hours (in chronological order with restored footage) of the Corleone Family saga.
The restored footage is great. Fills in a lot of plot holes from the first two films.

Like how does a guy sleep with fishes?
I mean, humans can't sleep under water.

I've watched it a few times. I love the way they redid this.

What plot holes?
Michael invites Fredo on a trip to Miami and embraces him as a brother.
Then he says "I know it was you, you broke my heart."
But if he knew, why invite him on a fun trip to Miami and embrace him as a brother?
Hopefully a deleted scene addresses that.

Havana? I think Michael had suspicions about Fredo that were confirmed at the bar when Fredo slipped up about Johnny Ola.

It seemed that Michael was ready to forgive him but that went out the window when Fredo ran off.

He didn't know until he was already in Havana. Fredo slips up in conversation by inadvertently revealing he had met with Hyman Roth's man Johnny Ola on a previous occasion.

Agree, it was a "blood is thicker than water" moment that Fredo bailed on.

I still think that whole plotline was kind of murky after watching the movies countless times. Roth wanted to kill Michael as revenge for Moe Green? And is still willing to do big business with Michael when the hit is a miss?
And what did Fredo do to help them? Tell them where the bedroom was? When the ridiculous party was going to be?

All that, and the "Michael Corleone says hello" line. Michael knew Pentangeli didn't order the hit when he asked him to meet the Rosato Bros.
I still really enjoyed the Epic.

Didn't that all happen in Cuba? I haven't seen the "epic" version but I do t remember any confusion about the fallout between him and Fredo

It is never clarified anywhere what exactly Fredo had done to betray Michael specifically. I have searched and searched for this cause those things drive me insane.

That sarcasm really flew over all of yalls heads.
Did you think I was also confused about how to sleep with a fish?

It's pretty clear

You can watch his reaction and tell he didn't know until Fredo said Johnny Ola brought him to the big dick guys show.

I never could make it all the way through. Great movie, just 7 hours is too much in one sitting.
