Pretty much nails it. Also mentions the childish act of storming off the field. Not a good look for a supposed "leader" of your team.

Very informative OP, thanks. Let me help you.
quote:
HARRIS STORMS OFF: LSU quarterback Brandon Harris did not appear to be a happy man as the game ended Saturday following his benching in the second quarter. He rushed off the field before any of his teammates, skipped the traditional singing of the alma mater with Coach Miles and nearly beat the game officials to the locker room.
“I would expect a competition that both guys would understand, and that we would go forward from there,” Miles said.
Etling said he spoke to Harris throughout the game after replacing him. “He was very supportive of me during the game,” he said. “He is a great teammate and really wants to win, too.”

quote:It is very nice to hear the quarterback talk about identifying defenses.
“I was able to identify what defense they were in,” he said. “And I was able to narrow down my read to high-low. DeSean popped up, and I was able to give him the ball.

Get off his damn back. 90% of the Rant would've acted worse than he did. The ironic thing is that most of you would be calling him an "outstanding young man" or "an incredible leader" if he played well. It's sad you allow a guy's play to dictate how you judge his overall character like some dumbass. He was benched for possibly a better option. Case closed.

Hopefully he sucks it up and uses it for a learning opportunity. The right attitude and he gets more PT I'm sure

If I were les miles that dude would run every step in TS.
Terribly selfish of him.

Harris was just frustrated with himself that's why he "stormed" off of the field. I remember when Peyton Manning did the same thing when the Saints beat the Colts in the Super Bowl.

Harris will get another shot. He needs to keep his head on straight because I could see les bailing on etling at the first sign of trouble against auburn.

Yes. None of the Bama QB's were great arms and talents, just cerebral, composed and well=prepared.
Been saying all along, switch out the LSU and Bama Qb's over the last 6 years, and the title count would be split evenly.

I saw Harris go over to Etling and give him a high five after his first TD. Rantards are creating a narrative that doesn't fit reality and in the process destroying anything left of Harris' confidence or desire.
