As much as I would love that record. This man is basically the bear Bryant of his time. Nobody is going to match him while he's still coaching. Any coach looks mediocre compared to him. Get over it. The best we can do is take him down one game at a time.

I see that you're trying to make a point. But, as much as I can't stand it, every coach in the nation is mediocre compared to Saban.

You should've used Freeze's record of 16-8 instead of the greatest coach of all time.

Saban is tGOAT. Comparing him to Miles is insulting at this point.

There are several other coaches that have out-coached Miles in the last 3 years. Pick and choose.

Processed like a bitch. Why would Herman step into this hurricane?

You can't have Saban in every team. We need to shine with what we have in hand, make most out of it. Miles is our HC and we need to win games and that's all it matters.

All really good coaches have ego's and would embrace the challenge.

Maybe. He has challenges at Houston and they may end up in a bigger conference. Houston is booming. Louisiana is in the shitter. Employees consider lifestyle for their people. As far as ego, I bet he's stroked more than Trump, in Houston.

"But, IF we had beaten Bama the last 3 years, the records would be LSU: 17-7 Bama: 18-6......so, we are even!"

Which is why landing him is a tall order at this point.

After this season, and barring a miracle turnaround, it is possible CLM will have a 4 year 14-18 SEC record. I'm not all that optimistic that this coach can turn his team around and away from the kind of showing we saw versus Wisconsin. There is blood in the water, people.

Are you suggesting Les isn't as good as Saban? You're going out on a limb there

But that's 9 MORE wins than 0-18 so that's progress

Wait, do you really think there is even a slight chance we go 0-8 in conference this year?

Dang...if only LSU was smart enough to throw the money at Saban instead of burning it now to get rid of Miles
