Screw all of the posts on how Harris played. If he could throw a soft 5yd pass or decent screen or a quick slant, those would be in the playbook. They are not so I'm certain it is on him some BUT ON LES AND CAM for not taking him out or letting him start. Those S asses gambled and it backfired on them AGAIN.

Brandon is definitely part of the problem. Even when he has time, he still doesn't go through his progressions, etc. BH is not comfortable with zone read and option plays at all. His inability to the throw the short pass is mind boggling and I have the slightest idea what the hell he was thinking about on that interception. escapes a sack and just slings the ball to no one but a Wisconsin defender

Oh .... he is part of the problem.

He missed some easy throws.

He damn near got LF7 killed floating that long pass, and there was one other pass that he floated.

Could he do better with another coach? Sure, pick one.

Is he good? No.

And before you say Harris throws the ball too high, each one of those passes hit Dupre in the hands and he dropped them, including 2 deep passes Harris allowed him to make a play on and another he let the DB take the ball from his hands.

I'm not defending Dupre one bit, because he lacks the catching abilities of other elite wideouts to play at LSU. But...receivers routinely practice catching the ball thrown at chest height, not a foot over their head.

Dupre dropped a few balls that a true NFL-caliber receiver would have hauled in, but Harris accuracy was atrocious on multiple occasions.

Kiffen should replace Les Miles.

I agree that while Harris gets the blame for that awful INT, the coaching staff gets the blame for ruining him and a multitude of other QBs. The sample size is large enough. They cant fricking coach a QB if their livelihoods depended on it. There is a reason Flacco flourished after Cam left the Ravens and Dolphins had shitty QB play when he was HC.

Harris has trouble with too many simple throws. He's just not that good.

Take the last play yesterday: he broke free and clear of the blitzer, but was still so flustered that he threw the worst pass in LSU history. Time to give someone else a chance. Don't care whether it's Etling or Scott.
