If Fournette is available take him. Then draft all o-line with the left over picks lol.

not McCaffrey, nor the actual Heisman winner, Alabama’s Derrick Henry — broke more tackles than Fournette last season (85 as a runner, 10 as a receiver), en route to his posting the No. 1 rushing grade among RBs Fournette’s power is obvious, but what earns him Adrian Peterson comparisons is his combination of strength and speed. 834 of his 1,916 rushing yards last season came on runs of 15 yards or longer, making him a true breakaway threat in addition to his between-the-tackles effectiveness (on rushes on either side of the center, Fournette averaged 6.5 yards per carry).

Hence the "lol" at the end...
The Ingram experiment has ran its course. They need a new main tailback.

Anyone who thinks Ingram is an issue with this team has purple and gold blinders on. He's a very good running back at a very good price

With this oline it doesnt matter who the RB is.

The Ingram "experiment" has been a success, even if he took a few years to become the complete back he is today. I honestly believe, he would be regarded as an elite RB, if he was running behind a decent OL.
All I want next offseason, as of now, is two good guards and the maturation of some of our younger guys. If we actually had two guards that belonged as starters in the league, along with Armstead and Unger, Ingram would go off for 120 yards rushing a game, along with a few receptions and very good blocking. Dude has become a really good RB, some just cant tell, with our OL blocking for him.

And if they do better than 5-11, then what?
Do we make a bunch of posts saying you were wrong? Because you probably will be wrong.

You sure do say this alot. Does he bother you? You seem to get all kinds of worked up over LF.
He's the best back LSU has ever had.
Terrance Mcgee, Hilliard, Steven Ridley all played in NFL games last year. Ridley was a 1200 yr rusher a few years back.
Jeremy Hill, Alfred Blue, Spencer Ware all started NFL games last year.
He's better than all of them. So there's that...
Would I take him #1? No.
Would I take him top ten? Absolutely.

if you think he'll probably be wrong, i assume you think
4-12 or 3-13 ?

What was funny about your post?
How many do you have the Saints winning?
Reading be hard

Yeah. OK. Ingram is a very solid back, a hard worker, and a great player.
If we had a run blocking oline, or, at minimum, when in the red zone we ran the ball instead of going empty set shotgun in goalline situations, he'd have the stats to make you proud. But if you wish to remain ignorant go ahead.
I wish we'd transition to a run first offense. Let the run game get going and then let Brees carve up the defense.
Looking yesterday there were multiple plays, just like last year, where we'd waste a first down by sending all the receivers 20 yards down field and not give Brees a check down. In inevitably led to a scramble and a incomplete pass. It's infuriating.

Yes, they do.
The thing that sucks is the penalties, it's been a problem under Payton and continues to be.
With the trajectory of this team, who is going to want Payton anytime soon.
Coaches tend to wear out their welcome, Reid going to KC was a good move for him and maybe Payton after Brees area would be better off with a fresh start somewhere else although with the Saints organization I would still keep him until he wants to leave.

In the first preseason game or two was thinking the team was running a B.S. vanilla offense to not show too much in the preseason. Then I woke up and realized this is the same damn offense we`ve been running since 2006 or 2007.
Let`s forget the fact the offense hasn`t changed much. The thing I can`t wrap my head around is the fact that while Brees is running for his life, none of the WRs are open or coming back to the ball.
Every game I watch I see other teams wideouts open at some point,if the Qb is scrambling, but when I watch the Saints, it`s like our guys must just stand still or can`t get loose to get open.
Can our WR not run routes or can they not get the separation? Is it because Brees doesn`t see them like he used to?
I predicted no less than 10 wins early on for this team, now I feel bamboozled. I can`t fathom that at this point, and I WANT TO BELIEVE!

It was a problem last year (especially Browner), but in 2014 we had the 3rd least amount of penalty yards.
We've been around the league average for his tenure, and in the top half in 3 of his past 4 seasons

I think the Brees experiment has run its course, and it was a failure.

How many times has Brees done rollout scrambling? Most of the pressure has been almost immediate and in his face.
Pressure makes the QB take his eyes from downfield. Brees moves well in the pocket, but doesn't really try to scramble often.

I`m not saying it`s Brees that is the problem. If that is what you are implying.
What I mean is change the playbook up using different routes or add some new plays that the Saints of the past would never run.

It is when the entire league has a very good idea, what plays you are running.
