The reason that it's being tested for more now is that there's greater awareness of the issue.
The awareness you speak of is advertising from big pharma companies and it's working on jokers like you.

I'm done discussing this with you. You are terribly ill-informed on this topic.

One of the only quality posts in this thread.
To the OP:
1.). You MUST get those other things checked. SHBG, Free T especially
2.). Are you fat? Fat tissue will turn T into E
3.). How's your sleep?
Testosterone should be a top 2 health concern for men over 30, it really does impact all areas of health. For some reason, we have an epidemic of low T vs. historical norms. I saw a study comparing levels today and those of essentially our grandparents and the drop is big.
Is it physical activity, environmental estrogens (like BPA), or the pussification of America?
The answer is unclear but keeping your T up should be emphasized over cholesterol for most men, and think about how society obsesses over that.

You simply don't know what you are talking about.

What is your level? And what is the range of values deemed normal on your test?
It was 347 and the "normal" range was listed at 348-1100 or something like that.
It was also done at 4 in the afternoon though and supposedly to get a better reading it's supposed to be done before 10 am.

OP needs to see a qualified doctor
I have seen a Dr., that's what prompted the thread. I'm wondering what experience people have had with dealing with low T in case that's a route he/I want to explore.
At this point unless something changes soon it's either that or Lexapro (which the doctors have been steering me towards). I'm tired of not feeling like myself.

I'm 6' 170 soaking wet, I don't have any weight to lose.

How's your sleep?
Been terrible recently due to the anxious feelings/general blah that I've been feeling for the last couple of months.
I exercise pretty regularly (mostly cardio) and have everything else going for me (job, family, etc...) except for whatever is going on in my head/body causing me to feel kinda crappy.

Treatment is based on your level in the morning, when it's the highest level. If you were borderline in the afternoon, you may very well be in the normal range in the mornings.

Lower amounts of T would be a good thing IMO

Congrats on the steroids script!

You know what else leads to that? A job, a wife, and kids. Join the club. You're normal.

Do you seriously not see the connection between your "factual" information of more men currently being diagnosed with low T compared to "decades past when they are testing for it now much more often as opposed to rarely testing for it in decades past?
Are you trolling? Serious question. I said testosteronelevels in men are lower now. I didn't say more men are diagnosed with low T. I said levels are lower. On a per capita basis.

Go to a low t center and show the results
They will most likely get you started on test right away
