whats the rate of explosions for Space X flights? seems really high, but maybe NASA was that bad early on too.

NASA and the Soviets had their failures, too. SpaceX hasn't lost anybody yet, have they?

Over 1 stretch of 88 shuttle missions, NASA lost 2% of their flight crew members.
