Guice and LF. Guice is a very very talented back maybe just as good as LF and better in some aspects.

Just curious, in what aspects is Guice better? Receiving? LF is an excellent receiver with great hands as well. Speed? No. Power? No. What aspect? And this is not to devalue Guice's abilities. I'd truly like to know in what aspects he is better than LF. Their freshman year there were some who claimed Williams was better than LF.

How about the ability to not hit the ground?? Admittedly I've seen very little of Guice but the little I've seen he's been very very impressive. 8 yards a carry is better numbers than LF is it not?

Yeah man I didn't say Guice was the better back. I think he gets to top speed much faster than LF also so he's better there, he's also more nimble and can make people miss much more naturally than LF. Other than that I think LF is the better back.

Not really. Fournette is not a huge threat in the passing game. Can he catch? Yes, but he doesn't have "great hands." He is a downhill runner and doesn't have the same initial shiftiness that Guice does, which allows Guice to be more effective in dump-off situations. Guice is also amazing at shedding tacklers, which helps. Making the first defender miss on a dump-off or screen is huge.

Speed? No

Agreed, but Guice is plenty fast.

Power? No.

Running over tacklers, no, but Guice has proven very strong. Go back and watch him shed tacklers last year. That's serious strength that isn't predicated on momentum.

He is much shiftier than Fournette. As I said in the other post, he is better at making defenders miss. He's a "slippery" runner, whereas Fournette is a punishing runner.

To sit here and act like Fournette does everything better is just silly. They are different types of backs, they have different strengths and weaknesses. Fournette doesn't have to be best at everything to be the best all-around back.
