I don't care about high schools pulling in players if it gets them out of bad situations and potentially gives them an opportunity at a college education. Or at the very least gives them a better HS education.

I preface with that only to express how I don't care, but I find it funny to look at rosters of power 5 schools and see all the kids from Rummel that signed with schools and of the 9 or 10 of them, there are about 8 different home towns listed. Marrero, Metaire, New Orleans, Kenner, etc.

Curtis wouldn't look any different. Holy Cross, Brother Martin, St Aug, Jesuit, all probably wouldn't look any different. Even among the normal student body. Kids from all over the NOLA metro area travel all over the NOLA metro are to go to school, athlete or non athlete.

But there are also a lot of kids in their own areas that they DON'T get.

yes and all of those kids must follow attendance zone, residency requirements among other things.
