re: have you ever just quit a job on the spot?

I was eating lunch at Nicky's in Shreveport last Friday when a loud commotion erupted in the kitchen. It was the bus boy throwing down his rubbermaid tub and dirty dishes.

Young dude says, "frick you! And frick you, Carlos! I've been busting my arse for you mother frickers, I quit!"

He storms out through the packed dining room and it was silent stares. As soon as the door closed behind him, it was like one fork rattled in a plate and everybody carried on like nothing happened.
