Even with the 8 Transfers LSU is just under the 85 Limit with 83. This means 6 players had to go anyway to get to the 85 Limit.

He's exactly right. A lot of guys these days want to, and think they can, play right away. IMO, the biggest problem is all these recruiting services pumping HS kids' heads full of stuff. I enjoy following recruiting, but most kids just aren't mature enough to see the big picture.

Les is being coy here, at least half the guys who transfer out are "processed."

Maybe true TheWalrus, but there are a few process candidates that have never played any significant snaps and are still on the team as 3rd and 4th year players. I think Les was talking more about Brown and I do not believe Brown was processed.

THIS! Why do idiots keep bringing this up? There HAS to be many of these in every program to keep numbers in line. Some are "processed", some want playing time immediately. Regardless, it happens everywhere and good recruiting keeps a team stocked with talent. People constantly look for anything to bitch about.

To be Politically Correct he should have said in order to get to the 85 Limit we had to Lay Off some Players!

You sit on a message board at the early hours of the morning reading through posts attempting to correct people's grammar, just to receive an anonymous upvote. How more exciting can it get?

"Comments" is a verb in this sentence.
"You" are a count.

Depends on whether he is referring to the comments that Miles made about recent transfers or stating that Miles made comments about the recent transfers.

And, apparently, there is significant debate among word nerds about the proper use of the apostrophe for singular nouns ending in s. Apparently, the more common method is to use the single ' (no subsequent s, as is the rule for plural possessive) for proper nouns and the 's for all other nouns.

Man, I gotta get a life

obviously, you don't want a mass exodus but if people don't want to be here, let them go. It is their life.

I am not sure why people get their panties twisted about the Grad transfer rule. The players don't owe you shite, especially the one using the rule to get their masters. That's call capitalizing on your talents, we use to like that in America

Agreed. But then again this is the age when a lot of kids try to leave early for the NFL. They want to play NOW. But they don't realize they aren't ready yet
