Looks like LSU Wisconsin ticket prices are in a freefall on the secondary market

I knew I should have waited a bit more. Oh well. I guess the extra I paid was peace of mind.
Staying the night/bar hopping in Milwaukee Thursday night. Then heading up to Green Bay Friday.
It is on. It's so fricking on. This is going to be such a kick arse game. Hopefully, I won't turn into JoJo, the idiot circus boy and get wasted before the game starts.

Just get them on game day for $40 bucks. Great seats too. Just have to be patient

Just in case I want to put a few bucks on it, what are the odds running?

(Trying to buy 1 or 2 tickets is slightly easier, but still risky)
(Oh and if you are a 10 figure OT baller, who cares about money right?)

Oh well, there's 1000 bucks down the drain.
The sad thing is it looks like the place will only be about 2/3 full.

Still don't understand why they just didn't do a home and home

That's exactly what I'm trying to do

Why so? I find it hard to believe two teams like this playing in Lambeaux on Labor Day/Opening Weekend would only by 66% full.

I considered that. But I am a party of 3. I don't want to wait til game day to get tickets in three different corners of the stadium.

Place will be full, not sure where the 66% is coming from, stadium is sold out

I agree. But supposedly financially this works out since an independent promoter puts on the game and pays each school an agreed upon amount.
But these type of games are not good for college football. I think Saban like them so much because he's afraid to play a Power 5 opponent on the road.

These neutral site games do drum up a bit more interest than normal home and homes.

Well the flooding will affect attendance but not to that percentage. I personally know of a least three parties with at least fifteen people that have had to cancel due to flooding. Face book roll call for those still going was weak. Ergo there are going to be lots of tickets available.

I thought it was because Barry Alvarez was scared to play in Tiger Stadium

Playing in a Famous Stadium, TV, Game Day Crew, exposure, hype, etc.

Actually, UW has a very hard time getting the "Big boys" to do a home and home. There is a lot of risk for teams that are considered "blue bloods" to come to Madison. Camp Randall is known as one of the toughest home environments in CFB. That, along with UW's on field success for the past 25 years, and UW's home winning pct; makes programs with higher prestige (Texas, ND, USC, UCLA, LSU, Bama, Miami) very wary about visiting Madison. Statistically, there is a much higher chance of defeat, knocking them out of championship contention then say visiting a Minnesota or Purdue.
Wisconsin also doesn't have that "elite" program status of say a Penn State or Nebraska (even though UW has been consistently better them both programs recently). Most "Blue Bloods" don't perceive UW on their level. Just read the posts on this site as proof.
Another reason most choose not to come to Madison is Wisconsin's state HS football isn't strong, coupled with the fact the UW lands 90% of the D1 talent in the state. Little recruiting advantage for the "blue bloods" to risk it.
Barry has no problem with scheduling the "Big boys" (see LSU, Bama), he just cant get the "big boys" to agree to come to Madison. IMO, there was little chance LSU would ever have come to WI had it not been for the chance to play a neutral site game in iconic Lambeau Field.
