Infirmary on 2nd Ave and 89th is owned by a Chalmette baw. A little classier than legends and I've not been there for a game, but I bet they give LSU special attention.

I have been to games twice in NYC, and both times I went to Legends and though the experience was fantastic.

Im not saying spend every night at BWW, but for a football game why do you need to go to some high class experience bar?? Lol. I mean to each his own, but I'd go watch the game at a place like BWW THEN go to some cool places in NYC. Not like you'll be paying attention to the place you're at while watching the game..

I'll have to check that place out.

I don't remember what it is. Probably though.

No offense man but you don't see the difference between being on the other side of the country watching a game by yourself with people who could care less, and watching it at a bar full of LSU fans? Seriously?

Speaking of, when are we thinking this thing will kick? 2:30?
I've got dinner reservations at the River Cafe that night.

Couple of my BR friends who have moved to NYC are working with Legends to put together a fundraiser related to flood relief. Stay tuned...

Pretty much any bar in NYC is packed for Gameday. My s/o went to Michigan, so I go to most of their games in the morning. They have 3 bars because their alumni base is huge. Each one is crowded as frick.
Oregon and Florida share a bar at Side Bar. That's also much more crowded than Legend's. If you want a neutral bar, with a ton of games and a place to sit but no game audio....try Stout. D.B.A. On 1st Ave may play it? Also L, I've only walked by it a lot, but a place called Campeon around 15th or 16th St has wall to wall TV screens. It may be a soccer bar though. Never been it but I always notice it when I walk by it.
No doubt Legends gets packed for big games but Id say it is much better than most other team's bars in NYC.

I went there a couple of weeks ago for the first time. It's a really nice spot! Wondered if the owner was truly from Louisiana or not.
