All except the LSU Band under the leadership of these slimeballs.....One of the members told me that the band is WAY down in numbers this year. I also saw on facebook a number of band members who quit after a few days of camp with these jacka$$es not to mention the members who did not return because they were already aware these guys were slime. Wait until the JSU marches into Tiger Stadium (1st home game) with 550. Compare what a Division II college band can be like under proper leadership.

No inside info, but numbers don't always mean better. Sometimes higher expectations can lead to attrition.

Can we stop this? Llinas (middle in the photo) is fantastic. I won't argue about the guy on the right, though.

Yes, all signs point to a blow out embarrassment at half-time.

JSU is probably the #1 college marching band in the country though.

Like stated, it's all about the proper LEADERSHIP. We could have this at LSU once again with the proper LEADERSHIP in place. It's not there currently, in either the School of Music or Head Director of Bands Office.............

Define "way down in numbers."

Isn't the band the same size every year (325 members)?

Can any Tiger Band members confirm that the band will indeed be smaller this year?

I'm assuming you're one of the people in the "Tiger band fans for Roy" Facebook page that has turned into nothing but a bashing of the current tiger band. Tiger band is fine, they have the numbers and from what I've observed from their camp they are going to be doing a lot better this year. So please, grow up. Roy was a great person but at best a mediocre band director. If you compare YouTube videos from 2001 when he was not the director of bands to the most recent years, you will see the decline in band performances. Also, if you look at any of the shows from 2013-2015, you can see that all of the shows tiger band did they had done before. Roy literally picked shows that were done five years before that year and redid them. Seriously, how can you be that delusional? There are people on the Facebook page that actually said they want tiger band to fail... (I have screenshots of the posts to prove it). So please, tiger band is going to be fine but it's sad that a grown adult has to try and tear down an organization filled with kids who are just trying to enjoy their college career. Grow up.
