3 rollover ground balls, weak weak weak

Everyone trying to hit a grand slam with no one on base. Nothing unusual

I can't remember Musgrove NOT hanging a breaking ball this game

Also, Ted Tucker singled in his first A+ AB

I'm not watching but this was the type of game I was worried about seeing from Musgrove. Dude throws strikes, which is of course a good thing. But does he move the ball around enough to keep hitters off balance? So far he's been dangerously in the strike zone. He's paying for it tonight.

Say it ain't so Joe. Figured he'd eventually get tagged but it sucks he's given up so many ER's.

It's not really a product of throwing too many strikes. His calling card is command and its nonexistent tonight.

So now we have 4 players who can be quality major league hitters in our lineup. Hopefully Yuli makes 5. If Reed figures things out that would be nice. He's looking more comfortable in the box so now the key is making hard contact. Add a couple decent hitters in the offseason and then we're talking about a solid lineup.

I think kemp fits in somewhere. I don't care if he has to DH. He battles and gets on base, we've got enough power elsewhere in the lineup

Welp, that's about it boys.
Those 2 months from Middle of May till the Angels series after ASB were fun.

Haven't been impressed with James Hoyt.

I think we're like 10th in the AL in homers so I wouldn't say we have plenty of power. I agree Kemp should get as many at bats as possible in hopes of showcasing him to teams that are looking at acquiring a 2nd baseman over the offseason.

Same here. I think Hoyt has given up more HR's than innings pitched.
