I agree. If there's limited room on a boat/truck, you have to leave animals behind

I understand not being able to evacuate people's pets. However, I'd tell them take my family, the dog and I will swim to safety. No way I could leave my little man behind. Probably drown doing it but oh well. Darwinism would take me and I'm okay with that.
ETA: pic yesterday after we somehow got out in time. Had to pull over and breathe after having water to my window. Trading the car in pronto.
