Suicide Squad Moviegoer Suing Warner Bros. For Falsely Advertising Deleted Joker Scenes
Posting to r/movies, the user had lots to say about how fed up he is with Suicide Squad and Hollywood’s tendency to delete scenes shown in trailers. He writes, “Suicide Squad trailers showcased several SPECIFIC Joker scenes that I had to pay for the whole movie just so that I can go watch those SPECIFIC SCENES that WB/DC had advertised in their trailers and TV spots...Non [sic] of these scenes were in the movie. I drove 300 miles to London to go watch these specific scenes they had explicitly advertised in their TV ads...and they didn't show them to me.”
Let's stop this nonsense of false bullsh**ery...and don't let them bribe you with their “deluxe premium special directors gold extended edition supreme cut” nonsense,” the user pleads. “You should get what they advertised as their first theatre showing and what you have paid for based on what they have showed you in their advertisements.”
Surely, more updates will be coming from BlackPanther2016 as the user continues pursuing the case alongside his brother. As of right now, the case’s is set to begin evaluation later this week on August 11th 2016.

Let me know when she starts her class-action against fast food restaurants for showing awesome food and then serving garbage.

Seriously.
"The trailer made this movie look enjoyable, but I hated it, and I want my money back + damages."
Seems legit.

Idk what trailer he is referring to but all the ones I've seen basically showed the only Joker scenes that WERE in the movie. Not sure what deleted scenes were in trailer than not in movie.

It made 13 million yesterday. That's very good start to the week.

I went see it with the wife last night.
I thought the villain/villains were just terrible. I don't know what the hell she was doing when she talked, but it looked retarded. Had to be the most powerful weakest villain ever. She could have killed all of them in seconds, yet she farted around with them and let Harley walk up to her and play her, then let her slice her chest open and rip her heart out. Just made no sense. It's like they wanted to end the movie and didn't feel like putting any thought into something sensible.
As for the squad:
Deadshot - i really liked the character, but didn't care for Will Smith at all. I think it was more the writing. He had so many one liners that were just awful. And he basically acted like Hancock the whole movie. I still think the character and Smith have a lot of potential, they just didn't do a good job at all of reaching that potential.
Harley Quinn - I really liked Margot Robbie. She had the least amount of terrible one liners, and i pretty much liked everything about her. Although i don't understand how a 100lb girl with no powers can kick so many grown men and zombie's arse with just a bat.
Captain Boomerang - pretty pointless character and power. He had his funny moments, but if he wasn't in the movie I wouldn't have cared or missed anything.
Killer Croc - I guess they were going for the Groot character. didn't mind him at all, but he was nothign special and didn't really bring anything to the movie. Liked his "I am pretty" line.
Diablo - terrible acting job and writing for the character. He had a nice story arc though.
Rick Flagg - like the character and the actor, whoever he was.
The Joker - the fricking Joker. Why was he even in the movie? I liked Leto a lot as this Joker, and i liked this Joker, but they did a terrible job of writing him in this. He was pointless. He should have been the main villain or at least they could have teased him as doing something big at the end. he's the best villain in all of comics and he was just a character filler in this movie that had no influence whatsoever on the movie other than showing why Harley Quinn is a sexy psycho.
Amanda Waller - hated the character and the actor. She is not a badass, and why they let her lord over the squad with her phone is beyond me. A god witch can get sliced open by Harley Quinn and have her heart stolen from her chest, but a group of bad guys can't take a device out of this womans hand so she can't hit a button and have them killed? They could have at least have one of them say, "how about i take that device out of your hands, or just shoot you right now", and she can say "well the device is connected to my vital signs and if i die, it activates the device and you all die". Something.
Overall, the writing was terrible. I liked the soundtrack, but it felt forced at times, like they were constantly reminding me this was a fun movie. It was still a dark movie setting. Every DC movie the scenes are always dark and dull colored. You think of the Marvel movies and how often they are full of color. It's like there are no lights on the set of DC movies. Just gives them a gloomy feeling all the time. Kind of aggravating. Might as well film them in black and white.
There were a good bit of scenes that didn't make sense, and i'm not even going to bring them up b/c i just don't care.
Despite the bad reviews i saw for it, i still had decent expectations for this movie and i thought i'd like it a lot. Figured it was just DC bashing and i'd still like it. That being said, i did not care for it and wouldn't watch it again, and if another one is made, i would wait until it came to video to watch it. This was my last DC movie going to in the theaters. I'll just wait and watch them on Kodi when they come out on DVD until they can get it right.

I love Margot Robbie, but her one-liners were the worst in the whole movie, imo.

stop what? giving an opinion. I'm not some DC basher. I don't give a shite who directs the movie either. I like comic book movies plain and simple. I don't care what other people say in reviews about them and i don't let reviews tell me if i should like a movie or not.
If I had to choose between watching Man of Steel and Deadpool, i'd watch Man of Steel, which is probably an unpopular opinion, but that's my preference, and there isn't a Marvel movie that i don't like, or wouldn't watch if it was on tv. I tried watching the extended cut or whatever of BvS and didn't even make it through the whole movie.
But every DC movie scene is set in some dark scene that lacks color. If you don't think that effects how people feel watching the movie, then i don't know what to tell you. There's a reason certain movies are filmed that way, and it worked well for the Dark Knight trilogy.
They found a way to make an orange jumpsuit in prison look dull.
Look at this set picture, bright orange jumpsuit.
Look at the screen shot. Not even oragne anymore.
seriously, it's like watching a black and white film.
Why do they do this?
By comparison
Yellow jumpsuit in prison from set picture
yellow jumpsuit in screen shot from movie, looks pretty much the same yellow, although it is duller a bit.

It might just be me, but I don't think Will Smith fit that character well. Idk.
ETA: This snippet from a review on RT sums it up for me: "Even with the suspension of disbelief, nothing in the movie makes sense."
