Just got back from a visit to STL. Cards game is awesome! You'll enjoy how festive Ballpark Village is before the game. Do the Bud brewery tour and visit the Cathdral Basilica, one of the most beautiful churches you'll ever see. Eat ribs at Bogarts Smokehouse! Just do it. The Arch is awesome to see but man is it a haul to get to die to construction. The zoo is awesome too but we finished only half of it b/c it was so hot! Hope that helps

Planetarium, Budweiser Brewery tour, Arch, St Louis Zoo (hotter than balls this time of year), the Old Court House, that's all I've got.

East St. Louis is verboten turf.

Laclede's Landing, Park area at the Gateway Arch, Union Station, Plaza Frontenac Mall, the Hill (Italian Restaurants).

And the zoo is top notch but most likely hot now as others have said.

Listen to me. On game-day You must start at 360 Hilton, i repeat DO NOT MISS THIS ONE. Just get one drink, its a view you must see.

Then either hit up Ballpark Village OR Paddy O's. Which ever one you dont see first, see after the game. When thats said all and done, 2 blocks over is Broadway oyster bar- go for the food and music.

If you dont drink scratch all those except for the 360 off.

These are all in walking distances.

Eat at Mission Taco Joint on Euclid, then walk across the street to Jeni's Ice Cream (a near-religious ice cream experience).

Great lunch area!

Ball park village is the place to go, and Hilton 360 bar is an amazing view.

stop, nearly half of the lower seats are hipster dbags. Nothing draws more hipster dbags to downtown than a Cardinal game.

Yeah scratch Paddy O's and stick with Ballpark Village. The poster who suggested 360 is spot on. BPV is right across the street from it, so you can kill 2 birds with one stone.

Not sure if you guys drink, but Lafayette Square has some great places. Microbrew in Square One, craft cocktails in Planters House, or treat the wife to Bailey's Chocolate Bar.

Okay, do everything around Busch like Ballpark Village, 360 Hilton, Arch, etc.

Do the Zoo. It's one of the best in the country.

But make sure you see the City Museum. There is nothing like it in this country. It's a true American treasure.

The City Museum is essentially a real life acid trip of wonder and manic creativity on a massive scale. There are two bars at the City Museum, one of which is hidden and you have to find it like a scavenger hunt.

It's downtown so it's not too far from Busch Stadium, but you'll want to drive not walk.

Do the City Museum!

St. Louis baws will agree with me. Have fun.

I personally don't like either Paddy Os or BPV. But if around Busch, BPV is the better of the two. Wheelhouse is also decent, but doesn't seem like a family place. BPV has family friendly parts, at least during the day for sure.

City Museum, Cathedral Basillica, any number of local breweries. If you're into craft beer, right now is St Louis Craft Beer week and there are a ton of events around town. LINK

Just got back from St. Louis, and I really really enjoyed it. A lot more to do than I thought. Here's some things I suggest to do:

1) Cardinals game of course
2) Go to Ballpark Village before the game. Lots of bars and restaurants, and a good place to relax and mingle with the fans before catching the game.
3) Cathedral Basilica. I'm pretty sure it's the biggest Catholic church in the United States.
4) Gateway Arch obviously. One of the most significant landmarks in the country.
5) St. Louis University was nice and worth a visit.
6) Zoo was really really good. Was extremely big.
7) Budweiser tour. Even if you're not big on beer, it's still nice to tour a brewery of one of the most important American beers.
8) Six Flags, but I would only go if you are in St. Louis for a while.
9) City Museum was awesome and probably one of the better things to do IMO.
10) Granted I didn't do this, but go to the 360 Hilton. Very nice place with great views from what I was told.
11) Go to Imo's Pizza and Pappy's Smokehouse for sure. Loved the pizza at Imo's and Pappy's has by far the best ribs I've ever eaten.

That's all I got I believe. Hope you enjoy your stay.
