Today I fished in Galveston, Texas with my uncle and his friend who is a guide. We caught 25 keeper trout (the size minimum here is 15 in) and another 25-30 12-14 inch trout. My question is this, what is stopping Louisiana from following suit with other states on the gulf coast and upping the standards for our fish a little bit? We have such an amazing fishery in Louisiana that makes all other states look like an amateur hour, yet we settle for the smaller average sized trout. Y'all lemme know what you think
Those down votes..............

frick tards that want to keep and ice chest full of 12"ers are shitbags.

the fishing would be down for a few years but would become a monster in 5 years if limits were reduced and minimums were raised to 14-15ins.

but you have the shitbags, even on this board, that yell and scream, "DONT TAKE MY 12" TROUT AWAY FROM ME ARG"
