How much worse can things get in Ann Arbor?

While I'm sure it will never be confirmed, do you not imagine that Sexton contacted UM to see if they were interested in Petrino?

I suspect that he did, but I also suspect that there is something about Petrino that Michigan simply wasn't interested in. Maybe it was money, maybe it was something else, but I would bet that there was at least contact from Sexton with Michigan.

Have they found a way to play Ohio State twice a year in football? That's about the only way I can think of.

well, i wonder if petrino would have even accepted the Michigan job if offered...apparently, he wanted to coach in the SEC and the timing with his resignation and a vacant head coaching position @ Arkansas (certainly had to do with one another) provided an easy escape from atlanta...

No, because Sexton isnt Petrino's agent.

They are so asleep at the switch that it isn't even funny. What is going on up there?

They actually could get worse when they face the Heisman trophy winning Tim Tebow and the Gators on New Years' Day.

My bad, I thought Sexton represented Petrino. I should have realized that, though, since the Auburn fiasco from a few years ago.

I really don't see Petrino being a Michigan kind of coach. His personality was too much for Bertman, imagine what Carr's bunch would have thought about him.
