CFBDW isn't going to count a National Title that the school doesn't even claim...

I know its all time, but Princeton is at #13, sooooooo..........

The Ivy League schools dominated the first 50 years of college football.
uhhhhh numerous threads on here during the latter part of the season?
Tubby's pooch kick on the final possession of the Auburn game was dumber than ANY move made by either Saban or Miles during their tenures at LSU.

And yet, people were excited at the thought of Tubby coming here if Miles left. Players are never perfect. Neither are coaches.

There was a good bit of talk about Walker taking the HC position at UCLA as a fallback candidate. The Bruins fans all seem to like him.

I didn't know about his past with Miles. That's interesting. I have no idea if he would take the job at LSU, but he is very well thought of out here.

Don't follow UCLA closely, but I work with some Bruin yahoos and listen to the sportstalk shows out here. UCLA's defense has been the only thing worth a damn about the program recently.
We are familiar with RR in Louisiana...he coached at Tulane for quite a while and was in the mix for the LSU job previously.

Great recruiter, and he has been a winner everywhere he's been. Only blemish would be his few collapses like the Pitt game. That was a horrible loss.
 I'm not trying to defend Saban at all. I'm having a debate (I think) about why I didn't include Florida 2003 under my header of embarrassing Saban losses.
Matt Mauck inexplicably had the worst game of his career...? Both of our safeties were hurt as I remember as well, I mean Chris Leak looked halfway decent for goodness' sakes.

What did you call the loss to a mediocre Florida team in 2003 if not embarassing and confounding?

Good point. Losing to a mediocre Florida team with a freshman QB was rough, but there were extenuating circumstances around that game. I guess I don't consider it on the order of UAB or Georgia '04.
I fail to see why Miles should be held personally responsible for each and every loss whereas other coaches are not. Saban averaged one confounding, embarassing loss every single year with the exception of 2003.
They are so asleep at the switch that it isn't even funny. What is going on up there?
If Miles goes to Michigan now, after his speech following the SEC title game, after his impromptu spiel about integrity following his extension...the fallout will be worse than it was for Saban.

Didn't the majority of Tiger fans secretly root for him with the Fins?It wasn't until he went to Bama that everyone started to hate him.True in my particular case.

I never rooted for him for one second with the Dolphins. Why the frick? What does that have to do with LSU football?
He's going to make in the 6-8 million range next year in the NFL. Not gonna happen.
