I think they still are... and if Miles was willing to go, I don't think Skip would come out and say things like this.
Maybe I'm blind / dumb, but I'm really starting to doubt that Miles is going anywhere.

You don't go from being a genius on the diamond to an idiot as AD. The AD position is a thankless job, whether you want to admit it or not. You're not gonna please everybody.
And you can scoff at the Final Four runs all you want and say that he didn't hire Nick Saban. Bottom line is that this is the Golden Age of LSU sports, and it has happened on his watch. People like you are too spoiled by success to understand that.

Bertman needs to say less, not more.
He is not exactly making a great point when he says, "The pay here is going to be more than the highest paid guy in the Big Ten. Money isn't the answer. Les isn't even a money guy."
Then why make it one of your central points if Les is not staying because of money?
Stanley needs to start behaving like a lame duck AD and stay out of the press.
