So, this Lewis Neal guy, kind of a big deal.

I could have sworn that Andrew Whitworth did more than 400lbs.

I didn't think that was really a power clean but rather a full olympic style clean. Power clean receives the bar more in a standing position with somewhat less bend of the knees. Still very impressive

Lewis Neal to you: Do you even lift bro?

Power clean form:
Looks exactly like what Neal did.
ETA: nah, this is just clean form, not power clean. My bad. Everyone give boxcar a slap on the rear and tell him sorry.

Power clean form:
that's not power clean form . Power clean would catch the bar at the 7th frame (skipping frames 8&9) and stand from there.

what he did would be called a full clean, or Olympic clean, or just a clean. All of which are different from a power clean. There is also such a thing as a hang clean and a hang power clean.

Wish there were more videos like this. Always interested to see the lifting technique of our players and also the weight they are pushing.

NB4 LSUALUM2001 says he cleaned that in 8th grade

Link?
I mean, I'm pretty sure that players on the LSU football team know what the correct form is.
ETA: actually, boxcar is right. But still, why call out a technicality.

sorry but a 'power clean' does not include the front squat part of the lift.
