Found this guy in my garage:
About 10-12 inches long, about as thick as a pencil. Any ideas?

Had a beautiful Blue Racer in my yard yesterday. Must have just shed cause he was bright as hell. Couldn't snap a pic before he smoked out. Hopefully he takes care of the rat problem under my pool deck

Baby racer. My uncle hatched some and we had over a dozen in a 10 gallon tank in our room. They used to eat each other. You'd walk in and find a snake with 2 tails and a head in the middle. Just shake him up, make him vomit out the other half of his brother, rinse him off, and he'd be good to go again. We had around 6 get out one night. Found one in my sister's shoe and one in my mom's bathroom. Mom wasn't pleased. I also hatched some eggs once (14/18 hatched). Donated them to the Nature Center that was in New Orleans East. People often confuse them with rat snakes, but the pattern disappears as they grow out of that juvenile phase.
