Not sure if it was covered in the rest of the thread, but there were a multitude of frozen and liquid water bottles thrown, glass bottles, food items, and 30 people booked.
The Advocate mentioned it by way of a quote from Col. Edmonson. Lau would never focus on that, or police protecting the protesters from themselves while being taunted and antagonized all night. These protestors want a confrontation. After Dallas the organizers know they need the initiative back, and need to take sympathy away from the police. In order to do that they need visuals of the police hitting people or pulling "guns" aka tazers on crowds. The Advocate is helping them in any way they can. Their twitter pages are all focused on the suposed gun that was drawn last night, nothing else.
After this, everyone should see the Advocate for what it has become. A leftist paper owned by a Democrat who uses it to futher the political goals of the Democratic Party.
I applaud Baton Rouge law enforcement for an outstanding job last night, and this week.

To anyone doing childish stuff like what went on last night, calling a teenage boys mother about all his porn subs etc. You really showed 'em.
BLM protestors are making themselves look like fools, but harassing the idiots with lame want to be jokes make you an equal fool.

I have zero problem with the protests. There is a genuine issue of distrust in the black community for police officers. There are plenty of examples of unecessary force and violence in those communities.
But demanding justice, and accepting justice are two different things. If the DOJ clears the officers, that is justice--a felon with a firearm who resisted arrest died in his apprehension. If they are found to have acted outside of their limits and killed a man needlessly and brought to trial, that's justice.
Justice doesn't mean vengeance, it doesn't mean getting your way. That's where the problem lies.

First thing I would protest is the dummy that made that schedule. Who the hell tries to hold a protest at the height of the hot arse day?

I'm going out there to explain the difference and help with the new chant.
"No Vengeance, No Peace, No Unindicted Police"

On a serious note. BR showed tremendous restraint. After hours of having frick the police chanted in their face. The protestors walk away from the police and try to cause a disturbance further away. The police respond and on the way back to the Circle K things started to turn ugly. If a gun was drawn it was then and with just cause. Trying to arrest a few and the crowd swarmed the officers. If they pulled their gun it was due to a concern for safety.
