I have he opportunity to go to Ireland in October and will be away the Saturday of the ole miss game. Assuming that this is going to be a cbs 230 game, is there any way to stream online through cbs? Would it be the same for espn? I'm sure this has been discussed before so apologies in advance.

I used justin.tv a few years ago to watch ... not sure if this site still exists for the same purpose

EDIT: it is not ... maybe google for sites like it though? Good luck.

You will be in Ireland. DVR the game and watch it when you get back. Some of you seem a little pathetic. It's a football game.

I used ESPN3 which I think is now watchESPN. It's only available out of the country and cost (if I'm remembering correctly) about $100 for the year or about $40 for the football season. Not sure what a weekly pass cost. Also not sure how much prices have changed.

Freaking this!

If I'm in Ireland with all the things to see and do, (Including thoroughbred Irish PT) the absolute last thing on my mind will be LSU football...........

It's actually www.espnplayer.com. I lived in Europe for 3 years and how I watched the games. It's only available internationally and they have annual, weekly or daily passes. They will also have the replay the next morning, so if it's a night game, you can go to sleep and just watch the replay when you wake up if you're able to resist checking the score. This is what I did so that I could actually sleep at night.

LINK

BUT, if the game is on CBS, then you will need to watch it from the CBS website. And they don't let you watch it internationally, only in the US. So, you will need to use a software VPN. I used Hotspot Shield. You login to the VPN and say you want to be located in the US, then login to CBS.com and it thinks you're in the US. The 2:30 CBS game will be on about 8:30 pm in Ireland, so a good time to watch the game but you would be missing the Irish pubs, and CBS doesn't have replays like ESPN.

Ah. That's what I meant. I lived in Europe for a few years, too. It was ESPN3 then became ESPNplayer. WatchESPN is the app on iPhone. Thanks for clearing that up.

Tunnel Bear app. Provides you a VPN good for a year and allows you to access watch espn app in places where it is blocked. Used it in Spain, UK, and Middle East for years.

wow I haven't logged in in a long time. This might even end up being my first post, not sure.

Anyway, just wanted to say that you might wanna check into AceStream. You download a program, I think it's called Ace Player. Since I cut cable I have been using it to watch sports on the internet. Just checked out the Pels summer league game last night.

With a bit of googling you can find an acestream id to copy and paste into your player, or I just found this cool site where you just click and it opens the thing up for you.

I know this is kinda vague, there are youtube videos that will be more helpful.

The quality compared to streaming sites is excellent.

I'm Irish and watch all the games on tv. The Ole miss game will be on one of our main sports stations. Depending on where in Ireland you are, you should be able to catch it.
