Loup is doing things I haven't seen since Mettenburger. It's sad how low the bar is set for LSU QBs.

Is that the game where LSU threw deep like the first play from scrimmage, scored, and the crowd went nuts?

I remember being up at halftime and the announcers saying "And that's what happens when it gets dark in Baton Rouge".

...I may be thinking of a different LSU-FSU game.

It rained like crazy that night.
It sure did. It was a fun football game, and the FSU babes looked nice in wet clothing.

That was back in the lowly days of enjoying moral victories.

Loup was a great representative for lsu...a good QB he was not lol. Kinchen was a great player on a bad football team. He got robbed vs Vandy on a Hail Mary. He and Mawae were 2 of the best offensive players during the dark ages.

The time LSU played FSU previous to that was 1982, my first home game in Tiger Stadium. The student section threw oranges on the field because we clinched an Orange Bowl berth with the win. Hilliard-James Gang. Fog rolled in at the end of the game giving it an eerie feel. No rain though. The natives were restless that night in Tiger Stadium for sure.

Actually, 1990 involved a brawl at FSU following a 42-3 loss at Doak Campbell.

I was a high school sophomore and attended that game.. The rain was miserable and I was cold as shite but stated the entire game.. I guess I was a typical pessimistic tiger fan even at 15 because I never felt lsu was going to win..

Anyone spot #33 Odell Beckham playing TB in the first quarter?

This was probably one of the top 5 efforts we got as fans from a Curley team. Dude was just a fricking potato head. Ppl complain now, think what it was like with that clown.

Kinchen was a true great Tiger. Just sad his teams weren't very good around him. The 91 team was still somewhat Archer's team. 92 was the true dark season

I was a fourteen year old high school freshman. There was an old coonass behind us just pacing up and down swigging on a pint of Jack Daniels. No security in sight and this guy clearly didn't give a frick. He was yelling and cursing at the top of his lungs.

Great game! Rained like hell that night. Ran all the way back to Tiger Plaza & we dove in really deap puddles on the bike path. Obviously fueled by Jim Beam.

I was a student back then and went to the game. I remember the sign they ran through. It said something to the effect of "Were number one and you're not. "I also remember it rained significantly in the first half which led to lots of wet T-shirts that night.

This team was so close to having a winning season. A few games at the end of the year they could've/ should've won.

Kinchen caught a long TD pass up east side line heading south on the first play, IIRC.

That opening sequence doesn't make sense

If those guys had been tailgating all day, why weren't they fall down drunk?
