I almost chose Infinite. Def deserving.

I always liked the way Street Fighter Alpha 3 looked as well.

I hate being the old guy in the room, but Dragon's Lair was stunning in arcades (these were places where teenagers used to go to play "coin operated" video games):
1983. No shite.

I remember the water in Super Mario Sunshine being impressive. Not out of the gun, but in the environments.

Doom 3 and Half-Life 2 for the time were incredible.

Doom 3 wasn't that good as a game, but was a great way to benchmark your cards.

I almost put Black Flag as a mention. Game looked great on PC at less.
Edt: As for Uncharted 4, it looked good but the wasn't overwhelmed. Everything was flat, laked soft shadows and dynamic lighting.

Yep the game looks great. I wonder what the remastered version will improve for PC. Consoles yes since it's coming to a new gen but the game on PC already wasn't the easiest just 2 gens ago to run at 1440.

They said they aren't updating infinite on pc, no need to.

That reminds me,
Unreal:Tournament looked spectacular for 1999

Think that screen shot is up res or modded.

Probably. There are a billion unreal and unreal engine mods and shite. Hard to find a legit one from last century
Anyone who was into pc gaming around 1999 though remembers unreal for having insane gfx though

Dragon's Lair
It's fun to look back on where gaming came from. We now have fully explorable games that look as good as (or better than) hand drawn animated movie-games of the past.

Ok.. I just looked at an actual unreal tournament video. Yeah..my pic is slightly modded. Lol.
But still tho, this back in 1999 was epic.

The first Bioshock was pretty damn good for the time.
Conkers Bad Furday was pretty good as well, or maybe that's just because I was young then.
