well, he did just produce a #1 pick, and Shaq said he wants a guy that can teach next level stuff

I could have coached that team and Simmons still would have been the number one draft pick. Don't kid yourself and think Jones had THAT much to do with Simmons' draft stock.

Of course he it's going to throw LSU in the mix. The Dude is loyal to his school. He loves Dale!

What sane human being would ever want their son to play for a horrible horrible coach like Johnny Jones?

Didn't hurt Simmons. Except for those who were born to coach but never had an opportunity, so they became coach critics on bulletin boards.

Of course he should go to LSU. The number 1 pick in the NBA draft just came from LSU. Can't beat that.

The SEC has only had 5 players taken 1st overall in the NBA draft (Shaq, John Wall, Anthony Davis, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Simmons). He'll wann help LSU match Kentucky so his son will end up at Love Shaq University

He personally knows J.J. Nothing more than a nice gesture to mention him!

I'll stick with what I said in a previous post. This last season left a bad taste in my mouth for prima donna "super prospects". Basketball is a team game and it is truly at it's best when you see five guys out there pulling together. Each one knowing what his skill set is and what role he should be playing in the team concept. Sharing the ball on offense and playing help defense on the other end.

Perhaps you can't win a national championship without the McDonald's type players but I for one would be happy to see a "team" that gives it's all and wins every game they should and competes in those they aren't favored in.

If they have unity and put forth the effort in every game, you will be surprised by how many games they win against supposedly superior players.
