Not true. Ajinca is like Aaron Gray. He's a matchup center that may only be useful half the time, but in those 40 games he's much better than a DLeaguer would be. Now with Asik on the roster we shouldn't need a Ajinca/Gray type backup, but if the plan is to eventually replace Asik with Diallo, you want to keep a guy like Ajinca around rather than hope to replace him with a DLeaguer.

Well i did say "I" think Ajinca is a good player, but if they aren't going to play him, then let him go. Waste of $5M sitting on the bench and bringing next to nothing to the team.
My solution would be to play the man, and play him at the 4 with the backups, and give him a good bit of offensive opportunities, much like what you would do with a guard that comes off the bench merely to chuck up some shots quickly in the few minutes he plays.
