That's actually not a bad theory and it fits in with Naz never knowing her name except the blood on Naz and the blood of the girl would be different if they were in fact two different people. Also the blood on the staircase and the taxi cab are the real girl's. Plus the fingernail DNA on his back from her scratches would also be different from the dead girl.
I took the stepfather so hesitation as him being stunned...who knows? What we do know though is that she was in trouble and it was with someone she knew personally. Could be a GF could be a BF could be Stepfather or anybody.
I just finished the second episode...not near as good as #1 and seemed like 90% filler. This is why I said I couldn't see it being 8 episodes worth of material. I really don't want another hour of procedural stuff that could be skipped. I've also know changed my mind on the killer...I have no idea...could easily have been Naz.

The real killer may have tried to see if he could wake him and then just let him be the patsy when he realized he was in a Coke crash.
(thought timeline is funny to me, MDMA at say 10pm, Cocaine and 11ish, sex, passed out, death and out and then arrested by 2pm?? Sorry he would have been wired, still at 1am.)

Is Molly a stimulant, it's basically super ecstasy right?

"Don't trust a lawyer who says I guarantee."
"I guarantee you won't find a competent lawyer who would take this case for less."
I'm really not trusting this chracter.

Ecstasy is the term that was used forever for the drug known as MDMA. An ecstasy pill generally contained MDMA and some other fillers; i.e. Caffeine, pill binder, low grade speed, etc.
Molly is the term that was given for pure MDMA powder and became popular maybe like 5 years ago. Generally found in capsules or powder.
My understanding is pills have made a comeback lately... They took a pill btw. I've done Molly a few times and it was never as strong as some of the E pills I took back in the early 2000s.
Edit- and to answer your original question, the A in MDMA is amphetamine, so yes its a stimulant, although the effects are quite different from speed.

Omar going to help my boy, Nas, out?

I personally feel like this show will turn out to be an overall indictment of the US criminal justice system. From the brutality of the prison system, the hawkness of attorneys, the treatment of minorities, to the over-publicity or certain cases.
Whether or not Naz did it, I don't know. But if we find out he didn't, and he is convicted in the end, it will make people question how many real life cases have gone that way. Seems to be a pretty popular narrative nowadays.

It has been a popular narrative for a long time. Have you ever seen Gideon's Trumpet?

Initially I thought the show was piggy backing on the success of Serial

Oh I know. I'm just referring to the popularity of things like Serial and Making a Murderer. More and more Facebook and Twitter lawyers popping up out of nowhere lately.

Ah yes. I hadn't thought about or actually watched those.

What does Omar want for the protection?
Posted on 7/24/16 at 9:00 pm to Peazey
Damn! Ole Nas is in a tight spot.
Posted on 7/24/16 at 9:01 pm to Peazey
Damn I don't know but Omar killed the girl. Anybody picked Omar yet?

That cat is a big piece of the puzzle and the fact that the door was left open that night.

If people want a clean cut crime show they can go watch Law & Order or CSI.
