Let's predict the media narrative:

White guy: Right Wing Christian lunatic, part of a societal and pervasive problem on the right.

Arab guy: lone wolf, troubled, had problems assimilating into a non-inclusive european societal norm, no relation to culture or religion

That's true, but unfortunately, most articles I've read fail to define what they mean by "mass shooting". But the largest number I've seen cited for Germany was 6 during the period of 2000-2014. The same article gave 133 for the United States in the same period. Even accounting for the difference in population, Germany has far fewer mass shootings using whatever metric that article used.
