Outside of GS fans, I don't how anyone whose a sports fan doesn't at least appreciate what happened in this series. LBJ played arguably the greatest finals series in basketball history and beat the most accomplished team in NBA history.

I rooted for GS (Curry/Green), but I also have a shite ton of respect for LeBron. That said, hell of a game 7 to end the NBA season

Yeah cussing his mom on national television by telling her to "sit your arse down" and basically chasing dollar signs his entire career. Such a role model.

Not to mention that he told her that when she went on the court. LBJ is the role model professional athlete.

Great series
Maybe a great rivalry beginning
Historical win
We've been arguing about this for a year +. I'm glad LeBron and the Cavs shut us up.

Or you are an actual Warriors fan. I'm not, but that seems kinda broad.

That's one of my favorite LeBron moments too, expecially after the Ayesha Curry situation.

it's the decision..it really effected the buttholes of so many

i know where it originated from, but again, outside of NE Ohio, why would his decision to not return to the Cavs incense so many people??? it literally had no effect on the status of a majority of the favorite teams around this site, so why so much hate on this guy???

i think the decision thing was a bit overplayed and overdone, but to be so full of hate for a person that BEFORE the decision most people didn't really have an opinion of or they actually had a favorable opinion of him, i just really, really don't get...

i'm just glad i lived at a time i got to see both him and Jordan... truly 1a and 1b ever, IMO

I'm a fan of the NBA,period.

I like Curry...and take satisfaction that I was right about his potential as a player.

I like ball movement and take enjoyment of seeing good teamwork...

When the ball moves and defense is played on a string...that's great basketball.

When a player gets hot and takes over (but not denying his teammates) that's great basketball.

When a team scores after making the right pass...

When they don't care about stats or shots...

When a player challenges bigger players and comes up ahead.

When a player uses his athleticism but isn't over reliant.

When a guy athleticism fades and he relies on his ground game skill,IQ and experience

So much to love about the NBA.

I have to agree. Some new shite has come to light after tonight. I finally realized how important he is and have to soak in what type of player we're witnessing. I wasn't really a hater, I just never cared what he meant to the NBA and sports overall. 3-1 comeback in the finals with those #s are undeniable.

I guess I was rooting for Cleveland. I didn't really think they could win given how dominant the Warriors were this year. It speaks to how well Lebron and to some extent Kyrie played - and to a lesser extent how Curry and Klay didn't elevate their games in return.

I'd like to see them play again next year maybe, the series was incredibly compelling.

This. I am a believer now. Not that Lebron was not already great, but the box for 'other worldly' performance can now be checked.

Growing up as a fan of the showtime Lakers, watching Magic battle Larry Legend, then the rise and fall of the Bad Boys, MJ morph into an American icon, Hakeem's titles in Houston, followed by the Shaq/Kobe era, it would be easy to let nostalgia color my opinion.

However, IMO, these Finals have been every bit as historical, and LBJ and his performance is cemented forever in NBA lore. If he was somehow not among the basketball 'gods' before, he is firmly entrenched now.

As for GS, maybe they should not have 'hurt his feelings'
