Miles rumors

Word coming from people connected to the UM program (proven connections, not Herbie style) say that pressure is through the roof on the AD from alums and boosters to offer Miles the job. Don't be surprised if rumors re-surface about Michigan going after Miles again. Miles did sign an extension right before he bolted from Okie State. Remember he really never was offered the job and Michigan was just spurned again. Just for clarification before I get burned at the stake for passing along this info: Michigan might offer (really soon according to a couple guys), but it does not mean Miles will accept. Michigan is getting desperate. Any word coming out of Baton Rouge?

I would definitely not want to be in the position to make a hire at Michigan right now.

Just the usual rumors. Personally I think that if his hand hadn't been forced before the SECCG he'd have at least considered it. Now, however, I think that he will stick to his word and stay around. Unlike Bama's coach, he has integrity.

Be prepared, cause you're gonna get bombed. I personally think until UM hires someone, there is still a chance....though maybe a small one....that Miles will still go to Michigan. Some people around here thinks that is absolutely, positively imposible.

Wishful thinking won't change it. They would have to pay one helluva price to pull him away, and he's probably a lil more pissed than he was before with them. Tell Michigan we said good luck wit dat.

Heard nothing and if we wouldn't be in the title game I would be worried....main reason why the Miles to Michigan rumors hit a peak is because the Arkie loss removed Michigan's biggest obstacle.

When Miles beats OSU, Michigan fans are going to be screaming mad if they don't have Miles. OSU fans will be thankful they don't have to face him every year.

Les made it a point to say what he thought it was about.
What he said was that it was about "Integrity." I fail to see how a man who clearly thinks enough of the value to mention it as the key ingredient in all this, and uses it in association with himself, is going to turn around and bolt for Michigan, drawing the ire of everyone, including the media. Exactly HOW is that going to draw recruits to Michigan? What kind of solid foundation is that?
NO SIR.... Fact is, that is NOT Les Miles, and if there is one thing we have all learned from Les Miles is that he is not only committed to who and what he says he is committed to, but he will also not be moved.
Sooooo Scoot on back to OU scooter and quit trying to divert LSU's attentions away from the task at hand, which BTW isn't going to work anyway. It's the National Championship, and now that we have put this coaching change to bed, we are going to put you to bed after we beat the ever loving snot out of you.
