This article has absolutely nothing to do with King or any of the LSU administration. All it says is that finding a tiger can be difficult and the place they used to get tigers from has been shut down.
OP is an idiot and so is everyone reading his title and freaking out. Some of you should try reading th articles linked and forming your own opinions for once...

we dont need a live tiger anymore its embarrassing and not a tradition secondly if we have to get a tiger from less than legit sources then I agree LSU perpetuates the exotic animal trade.

It's not that what the article says about the acquisition of a tiger, it is the fact that this author is in the back pocket of the administration. She didn't just up and decide to write this article based in independent investigative journalism, this is the administration's way of floating an excuse. Sometimes in life politicians and public officials use the media to shape public opinion and some of you idiots are buying it hook, line and sinker. All of the 'you didn't actually read the article' or 'that's not what the article said' posters may want to follow the bread crumbs and see what is really happening with this article.

Why don't you read the title of the thread......"LSU Administration may decide NOT to continue Mike the Tiger tradition"
I am suggesting that the administration may have already decided NOT to replace Mike VI and are using this article to deflect the decision toward other excuses. This is how politicians usually manipulate us........they run this stuff up the flag pole to see if we notice.
