Lebron CAN be an elite defender when he wants to but he plays in the East and is on the other side of his peak. He definitely coasts a lot every season and even the post season this year. He also is so active offensively that it makes it a bit hard to be a shut down guy every game.
When he wants to though, he absolutely can play elite defense. Not shut down every 1-5 though. Thats some casual fan nonsense.

Exactly. We're still digressing, though. Lebron isn't focusing all of his defensive might on Harrison Barnes. Barnes is sucking eggs as the 4th option at best on offense. Whose man do you think is sagging to help turn the Splash brothers?
