Gonna throw this out there but meaningless numbers say that either Romero, Nick Coomes, or Josh Smith need to be in the starting lineup next year.
By my count Mainieri teams have a 261-90 (.743) record with at least one Catholic High player starting and 198-92 (.683) record without. Quick somebody tell Moscona.

That's pretty awesome. Smith is doing well in the wooden bat league he's in right now. (Danville Dans of the Prospect League)
Coomes is a DH candidate, he was VERY error prone at LSUE, but crushed against an admittedly weak schedule.
