Corbello was great when we needed her but with Hoover, Walljasper and Smith ahead of her now they are set for 2 more yrs.

Lockwood is known for her dugout costumes

Bourg has a real gripe as she is better than Quinn at 2nd just doesnt have her speed. That one will hurt the most. Quinn had almost 30 errors this year

I'm surprised it took corbello this long, ULL could use her.

It's difficult to find playing time on a team with the talent to make it to OKC two years in a row. Corbello's leaving makes sense for her if she wants to see the pitching circle in 2017. I do wished Bourg had stuck around. She has the ability to contribute.

Corbello could transfer to SLU and TRANSFORM that entire program for a season! They are doing good things down I-12

I'm surprised Bourg is leaving. Who is projected to take over for pain train at third?

McNeese has a pretty good softball program and she can move home.

Incoming Freshman Amanda Doyle is projected to play 3B, she's was recruited for that position! Has a very big bat and is an upgrade to bell defensively.

She has played against the top teams in Cali for the past few years, she should be able to transition smoothly when getting here

As for 2nd, I think Torina recognizes we need much better defense. She mentioned that there will be some changes for next season. Whether she's talking about Quinn specifically, not sure but her and Bell were really the only liabilities on D, they accounted for more than half of the errors.

I'm just surprised that she didn't rotate Bourg, Sanchez and Quinn more. I don't think that Quinn did enough to earn and then keep the full-time spot.

Yeah, I don't see how transferring anywhere make sense. Her sisters played at mcneese and mcneese is fresh off a tournament appearance

Quinn early on was very hot offensively, so she kept that position early on, by the time late season came, I didn't think Torina was gonna throw some of the inexperienced players into the fire.

Don't get me wrong Quinn is a solid player but she did hit under .300 this year and had way to many errors that hurt this team in many ways.

I think 2nd base should be up for grabs next season. Sanchez and Cunningham should get some looks. Both are much better defensively then Quinn. They are just in experienced. I still think Torina should have at least rotated Sanchez in more. It's not like Quinn had Bianka Bells bat. She was hot early on but struggled a bit in the last half.

I think Torina realizes that defense needs to be a priority, if it means playing more inexperienced underclassmen, taking your lumps at the plate early on I think it will be worth it.
