Ice just isn't that expensive

The cost of ice isn't even a factor in why people buy them, I don't understand why people think it is. For me it was the durability, going through a 50 dollar igloo or coleman 2-3 times a year is costly, bought a yeti 8 years ago and haven't had any problems with it. With it's durability it paid for itself.

Oh and about ice not being that expensive, you obviously haven't purchased any from Moran's Marina.

I got a K2 as a gift to use as a casting deck on my flats boat. It was awesome for that. Much cheaper than a Yeti and served the same purpose. The lid did have a "dent" in it (that's why I pointed out the gift aspect, I would have picked the one without the dent). I've heard K2 can get that, and I'm sure Yeti doesn't put out a product with that. But in the grand scheme of things, it's a inconsequential blemish that does not affect the cooler from doing it's job (keeping shite cold and letting me stand on it all day).

Now, since I've sold my boat, that cooler only get's used about twice a year since it's so damned heavy.
