I'm surprised the bankruptcy wasn't too awful to prevent them from doing this.

I really like all of that stuff but what I think I like the most about it is the wider and slanted slide serrations. I like the way they flow with the angle of the grip and being wider allows for a better grip on the slide in my opinion.
What remains to be seen is if they made changes to the barrel to provide for better chamber support. We shall see. If they did do that, this may very well be my next firearm purchase.

You can get the current ones for ~$1000. I imagine these will only be $100-200 more if that.

I wouldn't mine having one. I'm finding they are $50 to $60 higher than the old one. None of them was $150 higher.
