Why are you people so against sovereign citizens? It's a little disturbing that anyone who chooses not to acknowledge the state is viewed as crazy.

You don't get to choose whether or not you acknowledge the state.. I may not like the government but they do exist and do reside within

You can't choose not to obey laws dummy. If you speed or otherwise break the law there are consequences.

It's not that don't acknowledge the state (and who the frick are they to do that anyway).

It's that they are hypocrites about it. Bet they would acknowledge the frick out if it when they can get money. And they obviously use indirect services. Paying fines though....nah.

To tell you how fricked up the "cause" is, look up what the words sovereign and citizen mean. They don't reconcile with each other.

they believe their name is a corporate entity created by the government and if they say magic words, they can remove themselves from the regulatory power of the state (even while participating in using the public goods of the state). you don't think that's a bit off?

also, this is ignoring all the OTHER stuff they do like filing improper liens and sometimes, in extreme cases, killing police who are doing nothing other than a routine traffic stop
