In light of Art Briles's situation, it makes me more proud of Miles

There were some on this board calling for LSU to go after Art Briles last year. Now look at the mess Baylor is in. Say what you want about Miles, but aside from fighting, LSU does not have these things happening.

That under .500 record in November since 2012 says otherwise.

I said it a year ago and I'll say it again now - Baylor was so desperate to win they let a small group of boosters run the show and became dirty as shite

I've always wondered how Baylor and Ole Miss pulled this off

If they're not careful, they could wind up being another SMU. I don't know if we'll ever see the death penalty again or not. Alabama came damned close to it years ago, but had some good politicking. SMU never recovered from what has been the only death penalty formally handed down.

LSU isn't under .500 in November from 2012-2015, even with our 1-3 last season....

Maybe one day we can see a good post from you. I'll take our results over covering up and silencing possible rapes.

Miles has sacrificed wins for integrity, and directly led to the turnaround of the future highest paid safety in the NFL.

Kicked off SEC Championship Game MVP, and a Heisman Finalist. Other coaches may have tried to work around it

Bruh that novemeber win% is heavily skewed because of the bama losses.

And once again you try to turn a positive thread about LSU into a shite on the staff thread.

Briles is a scapegoat.

I'm usually very critical of Miles but I completely agree here. I think he mishandled the Jeremy Hill and JJ incidents, but other than that he's done very well with discipline issues.

I dont think Briles is a bad guy. I think its more of a case of see no evil....hear no evil. I cant believe he honestly knew of the extent of this cluster. Maybe so....who knows.

Not the JJ one imo. You can blame brpd. There was still no evidence he ever did it. And took the brunt of the public punishment while others were involved. Plus the kid was a douche and bar fights happen all the time and people don't get arrested. Why? Cus no one gives a frick if Joe schmo fights at Reggie's.

Hill on the other hand, idk. He sucker punched that dude. Hill was an idiot. But still suspended him.

Well taking transfers from other schools with priors is one thing.

He is the head coach. He knows what's going on.

None of yall would give Miles the benefit of the doubt if anything like this ever happened.

Miles doesn't have to knowingly recruit thugs & criminals to be successful
