The mom in this situation is the most to blame. She's the one that brought this piece of human excrement into the home with her son. She's the one that left him alone with this genetic garbage.

You can draw some inferences that are pretty close to the mark without knowing anything firsthand. Mama hooks up with Face Tattoo and kid dies shortly after. Face Tattoo is primarily responsible, but Mama showed criminally poor judgement in men for at least the second time in her life that we know of. Now all her friends are boo hooing about what a good mother she is and how her kids are the most important thing in her life and how anybody who criticizes her had better step the frick back.
