"We haven’t even talked about the Guardiolas and the Ancelottis. But I’ll tell you what, maybe I’m stupid, but I think I’m a manager in and around that level."

Well what is he supposed to say? These are all high ego individuals. He's a super pragmatic coach, and honestly, I miss him as the USMNT coach. He's better tactically than Jurgen by some measure.
I mean, Sam Allardyce thinks he could do wonders at Real Madrid. He won't ever get that opportunity, but what else is he supposed to believe?

I don't want Bob back with the USMNT, but he certainly got screwed over by the USSF. Once they got Jurgen on board, they were basically waiting for the slightest misstep to get rid of Bob... And then the 2011 GC final happened.
And now we have a coach that is producing lesser results with a deeper talent pool. Thanks, Sunil.

It's one thing to say that Bob is better than Jurgen....but to put Bob's name in the same sentence as Ancelotti and Guardiola...I mean that is a truly moment.

I don't want him back either, but if we're going to hold him to that level, not sure why Jurgen isn't being held to that same level.
