lebron losing his jumpshooting (out to 3) is one of those "what the frick?" things in basketball

He wasn't a good shooter to begin with. He's always been a slasher with an ugly jumpshot. I guess he isn't putting the time in anymore to keep it up.

Lol always something for the haters to nick pick.
He's 0-3 out of the paint this series and 9-17 one game at FT line
But all of a sudden he is a horrible shooter.

He's not great and it's not his strength. But he's average at worst.
He's getting to run easy this series. Why shoot jump shots when you don't have too.

2nd best player of all time.
Enjoy excellence. 10-0

It was never pretty, but he was consistently improving as a jump shooter and peaked in Miami. In 2012-2013, he shot 40% from 3 and was 41.7% on jump shots in general.

For reference, Curry shot 45% from 3 and 44.6% on jump shots this year, and he's obviously considered the best shooter in the history of the game.

Yes he was. I think he had a 2 or 3 year run where only Dirk was better from 16-23 feet.
