Wasn't sure where to post this but does anyone have any recommendations for a golf instructor?

Just starting and would like to get some lessons before any bad habits form.

Thanks for your input.

I currently use Craig Trahan at Big Easy Golf Acadamy. He has gotten me hitting it pretty solid.

Heard on the radio that Big Easy Sportsplex is offering a free initial swing evaluation. I have no idea if the instructor there is any good (Craig Trahan?) but it is associated with Rob Noel who is a good teacher. May be worth checking out.

Northshore too far to go?

That's where you're gonna find some of the better ones.

Lack of good instructors, reason no. 67 why New Orleans golf sucks.

Buddy Reno at St. Rose driving range. Cheap and alot of experience. $60 1 hour or $400 10 hours. Really cool laid back guy

Google turns up nothing infowise, LE

I've heard golftec teaches you a cookie cutter swing and not one that's best suited for you.

Golftec just behind the mall on Causeway.

Not sure about the teaching quality but City Park driving range is huge.

If you have a connection to Metairie CC, Dave Marchand is an old pro with solid game
